Green Mountain Co-Pack and Thirsty Ventures, Inc., have partnered to build a new state-of-the-art specialty food and beverage production facility located in Williston, VT. The partnership will allow Green Mountain Co-Pack customers access to experts on commercial recipe development and production of organic, all-natural and conventional drinks, sauces, condiments, beverages and other foods.

Green Mountain, Co-Pack, Vermont’s boutique-style specialty food and beverage manufacture, has built a new, 20,000-square-foot state-of-the-art production facility in Williston, VT and is joining forces with Thirsty Ventures, Inc., parent company of Powell & Mahoney, Ltd. to increase output, reduce turnaround times and enhance the already high quality GMCP is known for.

“We see exciting things in the future,” said GMCP founder Jeff Mitchell. “It is great to see the company grow, but I am also excited about tasting all the excellent new, natural foods and beverages we will be able to produce.”

What´s new? As GMCP settles into its new facility, the company will quadruple its workforce from five employees to 20. The new location will have two independent production lines, allowing GMCP to offer a broad diversity of products, and most importantly, increase output 20-fold. The new state-of-the-art cooling system will ensure consistent, accurate and high-quality products, every time, regardless of fill temperature or batch size.

Though GMCP expects to expand significantly in the coming years, it will continue to produce in small, craft-batched kettles, allowing for thoughtfully blended ingredients and unwavering attention to quality.

GMCP´s new production lines will also offer a stepping stone for smaller, craft producers looking to expand their geographic reach.

Experts are available to consult clients on commercial recipe development and production of organic, all-natural and conventional drinks, sauces, condiments, beverages and other foods. In fact, between Mitchell, Mahoney and other senior staff, GMCP offers its clients more than 70 years experience in specialty food development.

GMCP´s new facility can produce everything, from small-scale local orders, to large-production truckloads for sophisticated branded and private label projects. GMCP will also provide cost-effective shipping throughout the continental United States and to export ports in New York and New Jersey.
