MADISON, Wis., March 19, 2013 /PRNewswire/ — Focus on Energy, Wisconsin utilities’ statewide program for energy efficiency and renewable energy, has won the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency’s (EPA) 2013 ENERGY STAR Partner of the Year-Sustained Excellence Award. An ENERGY STAR partner since 2001, Focus on Energy will be recognized at an awards ceremony in Washington, D.C. on March 26, 2013.

The recipients have reduced greenhouse gas emissions by setting and achieving aggressive goals and employing innovative energy efficiency approaches. Focus on Energy was one of 70 EPA Sustained Excellence Award winners selected this year from the nearly 20,000 organizations that participate in the ENERGY STAR program.
