Gen. Keith B. Alexander to Keynote NVTC Titans Breakfast on May 10
HERNDON, Va., April 17, 2013 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ — The Northern Virginia Technology Council (NVTC) today announced that Gen. Keith B. Alexander, Commander of the U.S. Cyber Command, Director of the National Security Agency and Chief of the Central Security Service, will headline the organization’s Titans breakfast event on May 10, 2013, from 7 – 9:15 a.m. at The Ritz Carlton, Tysons Corner in McLean, Va. Gen. Alexander will detail current cyber threats facing the country, what we need to do to address these threats and the future of intergovernmental and public-private information sharing and partnerships.
As Commander of USCYBERCOM, Gen. Alexander is responsible for planning, coordinating and conducting operations and defense of Department of Defense computer networks. As the Director of NSA and Chief of CSS, he leads the DoD’s national foreign intelligence, combat support and U.S. national security information system protection responsibilities, including the interconnected missions of signals intelligence and information assurance.
