Media Imagery Studios creates 2013 mini-documentary video “Cradle of Liberty Council” for Southeastern Pennsylvania, Boy Scouts of America to assist inner-city youth.

Pennsauken, NJ (PRWEB) May 13, 2013

Media Imagery Studios, a full-service media design and digital video production studio in Pennsauken, NJ debuts a new mini-documentary video production for Southeastern Pennsylvania´s Cradle of Liberty Council, Boy Scouts of America.

This new video follows the award-winning “ScoutReach” production by Media Imagery for the Boy Scouts in 2011. In 2011, Peter Walts, Cradle of Liberty Boy Scouts of America (COLBSA) Executive Board member and CEO of Centropy Group, commissioned Media Imagery to produce a mini-documentary on COLBSA´s “ScoutReach” program that assists inner-city youth.

“The 2011 production was very moving” commented Thomas Harrington, COLBSA´s Scout Executive and CEO. “In a field of entries from 280 councils throughout America, the “ScoutReach” video won the Best Audio-Visual Communications Award of the Year from the National Council of the Boy Scouts of America.”

“Video communications projects such as these allow us to do what we do best at Media Imagery – tell compelling stories that impact people´s lives,” said Media Imagery CEO Ben Bencivenga who also produced, directed and wrote the 2013 mini-documentary hosted by WPVI-TV/6ABC Action News anchor Rick Williams.

Video footage was shot throughout the greater Philadelphia region, featuring stories of three generations of scouts – including the story of a young Iraqi teen who lost his leg in an IED attack. After being treated in America, the young man and his mother were granted asylum in the United States, and he became the first Iraqi refugee to become an Eagle Scout.

Reinforcing the overall theme of grit, resilience, diligence and the character that scouting instills in young men, “Media Imagery once again produced an outstanding 9-minute video production that was the high point of this year´s annual fund-raising dinner. Ben and his team delivered an emotional message that moved the crowd of some 500 supporters” said Mr. Harrington.

Dave Purdy is Media Imagery Director of Photography;Director of Media Design, Dave Mickolas created all animation segments; and Sr. Editor John Pietrocarlo handling all HD post-production.
