PAE Appoints Paul Cofoni as Executive Chairman of Board
ARLINGTON, Va., June 5, 2013 /PRNewswire/ — PAE, a leading provider of global mission services, has appointed Paul M. Cofoni as Executive Chairman of its Board of Directors. Mr. Cofoni, a respected leader with over thirty years of successful experience in the government services industry, will focus on expanding PAE’s current portfolio and guiding the company’s growth strategy.

During Mr. Cofoni’s most recent position as President and CEO of CACI International, Inc., he oversaw its growth from $1.6 billion to $3.8 billion in revenue, through achievement of a double-digit organic growth rate, as well as the acquisition of 20 companies. Prior to joining CACI, Mr. Cofoni was President of the Federal Sector of CSC, one of the largest system integrators for federal government agencies. Under his leadership, this segment grew from $2.7 billion in revenue to over $5 billion in less than five years. Prior to his employment at CSC, Mr. Cofoni spent 17 years with General Dynamics in various technical and management positions. Mr. Cofoni served on active duty as a U.S. Army Officer for four years from 1970 to 1974.
In 2012, Mr. Cofoni was selected as the Government Computer News IT Executive of the Year. In 2011, he was named the Executive of the Year by the Greater Washington Government Contractor Awards. Mr. Cofoni has served as Chairman of the Professional Services Council, an association created to serve federal services contractors by advocating for government policies that will promote effective contracting. He has also served as Chairman of the Board of the Armed Forces Communications and Electronics Association (AFCEA) International, which serves as an ethical forum for leaders in the military, government, industry and academia to advance their professional knowledge and relationships in the fields of communications, information technology, intelligence and global security.
