PureSense Taps David Termondt as New CEO
FRESNO, Calif., June 17, 2013 /PRNewswire/ — PureSense has appointed 25-year financial veteran David Termondt as CEO to improve the company’s strategic growth in technology solutions for agriculture. “David has it all,” says Joe Hudson, Managing Director of One Earth Capital. “He brings a depth of experience in managing growth in companies with hardware, software, and service oriented solutions. David brings the know-how necessary to position PureSense for rapid growth while staying focused and committed on serving our core market and customers.”
Termondt joined PureSense in 2011 as CFO and has served the last nine (9) months as Acting CEO while re-structuring the company to support our customers and for our next level of growth. “Changing leadership and adjusting the business model have been key to positioning PureSense for the growth we’re expecting to experience over the next year,” says Termondt. “These last several months have been healthy for the organization and invigorating: all at the same time.”
Before joining PureSense, Termondt was a business leader in large companies – Hewlett Packard, KPMG and CISCO – as well as smaller companies. His success in these companies has in large part been due to his “can do” attitude and “get your hands dirty” management style. The challenges of a growth stage company like PureSense was appealing to Termondt. “Building value for our customers is the bottom-line for PureSense as we grow more confidence with our customers, our employees and our investors,” says Termondt. “I look forward to the challenge and the privilege of leading Puresense into the future.”
