Butterfly Flow Control Devices Delivered to the South-North Water Diversion Project in Beijing

August 29, 2013

SHENYANG, China, Aug. 29, 2013 /PRNewswire/ — NF Energy Saving Corporation (NASDAQ: NFEC) (“NF Energy” or the “Company”) is a leading energy saving services and solutions provider for China’s power, petrochemical, coal, metallurgy, construction, and municipal infrastructure development industries.

Recently, the Company delivered an order to the Beijing South Canal of the National South-to-North Water Diversion Project. The order included 2 sets of jumbo-sized electric butterfly valves for the 2200 mm diameter pipeline and 13 sets of manual butterfly valves for 200mm -1000 mm diameter pipelines.

The NF brand flow control systems received high praise from nearly all experts conducting quality inspection for the project, proving once again the Company’s strong technology and leading role in the low pressure, large diameter valves industry and adding to NF Energy’s credit as “the solution provider of large sized smart valves.”

The South-to-North Water Diversion Project (“SNWDP”) is one of the largest water works in China ever, and the Beijing South Canal is an important part of the national strategic water works project in the country’s capital. The Beijing South Canal will provide water supply to the southern and eastern sections of the city. The South Canal will be combined with the North Canal, the East Canal and the West Canal to form an integrated water supply network around the city, according to the SNWDP construction program. Thanks to the project, people in Beijing will be able to use the water diverted from the Yangtze River in 2014.
