Premium Verizon Wireless Retailer Looking to Hire Employees for New Store

Cellular Sales, the nation’s largest premium Verizon Wireless retailer, is announcing the grand opening of a new store in Newport, Ky.
The new location, which will open on Wed., Oct. 2, is in the process of recruiting individuals to work at the new store. Overall, the Newport store is expected to create about 10 jobs.
“We are looking for highly motivated individuals to join our team at our new location in Newport,” Marcus Hundley, recruiter at Cellular Sales for the Kentucky region, said. “We’re hanging the ‘we’re hiring’ sign out front, and we’re looking to add to our nationwide staff of more than 4,500 employees.”
Cellular Sales, which is celebrating its 20th anniversary this year, was founded in Knoxville, Tenn., and was named by Inc. Magazine as one of the nation’s fastest-growing privately owned retailers for five consecutive years. The company has more than 4,500 employees and 560 stores in the U.S., including nearly 25 stores in Kentucky and five in southern Ohio. When the store opens, it will be Cellular Sales’ second in Campbell County
“As we continue to grow in Kentucky, we are constantly looking for new staff,” Hundley said. “Our customer service is second to none, and we need individuals who are committed to providing incredible value to our customers.”
While Cellular Sales deals primarily in cell phones, it also offers home phone and Internet service. All of these will be available at the new Newport store.
