A Celebration of Giving Back at Corelli’s Italian Cafe

September 12, 2013

There’s a community restaurant on the corner of Westheimer and Chimney Rock that has not only been serving up menu items patrons say ‘are to die for’ but they have also been quietly giving back to the community, until now. In October, Corelli’s Italian Café will be celebrating their 18th anniversary, in a very big way and the community, including businesses and organizations, are invited to join the festivities.

“We have many plans for the celebration, yet, first on list is to give back to the community. Every Wednesday in October, we will donate ten percent of total sales for the day to Texas Children’s Hospital,” said Andy Provost, general manager, Corelli’s Houston.

Other specials Corelli’s is offering during the celebration include an anniversary menu of Corelli’s Classics and 25 percent off all bottled wines.

“We look forward to seeing the community during our milestone anniversary and their help in supporting Texas Children’s,” Provost said.

Corelli’s has always supported our community, yet, with their 18th anniversary coming around they wanted to kick-it up a notch.

“We wanted to do something more. Giving back is how we say thank you to the community that has been good to us. So we looked to Texas Children’s, with their different components, they truly affect our community,” Provost said.

Provost added that through the 18 years in Houston, in the Galleria area, they have seen many changes.

“With our restaurants being in business for the past 18-years is success in itself, which we contribute to our many years of experience, our chefs strictly following traditional recipes, using only fresh, high-quality ingredients, and preparing meals from scratch. But we know it takes a lot more than just great food, it takes top-notch customer service, and that is what has kept our customers coming back,” Sean Kennedy, general manager, Corelli’s Sugar Land.

Moreover, all of Corelli’s staff agree, residents and the business people in Houston are the best.

“We have patrons who come from many different areas of Harris County and beyond. Texas Children’s also serve residents from all areas. So again, we hope to see the community throughout our anniversary celebration in October, and especially on Wednesdays, to support Texas Children’s,” said Libby Evans, manager, Corelli’s Galleria.

Texas Children's Hospital is a not-for-profit organization committed to creating a community of healthy children through excellence in patient care, education and research. The hospital is also ranked among the top children’s hospitals in the nation.

Corelli’s has two locations, one in Sugar Land, 3229 Hwy 6 @ Williams Trace Sugar Land, 77478, phone 281.491.8900 and the Galleria area, 5640 Westheimer @ Chimney Rock, Houston, 77056, phone 713.629.4424.
