“Upon seeing how LEDtronics’ LED lighting products and services would advance the government’s dual goals of employing sustainable resources and saving taxpayer dollars, we successfully worked with their team, and their GSA certification was recently approved,” states Ronniece Pearcy, EZGSA Proposal Specialist. “LEDtronics is now part of our Schedule 56 program and ready to fulfill government contracts.”

GSA establishes long-term government-wide contracts with commercial firms to provide access to millions of commercial products and services at volume discount-pricing. Vendors must go through careful analysis, planning and proactive steps to ensure they are successful in the GSA Schedules program.

To become an authorized GSA contractor under Schedule 56 – Building and Building Materials/Industrial Services and Supplies – Category 206 12 and 206 4, LEDtronics had to meet several requirements including:

    -- Have two years of experience in federal contracting either as a prime or
        subcontractor;
    -- Hold contacts and relationships within the commercial or federal
        contracting community; and
    -- Attend GSA seminars and workshops on contracting.

LED Lighting Experience Now Available to Federal, State, County, and Municipal Agencies

“With over 30 years of experience and innovation in the LED lighting industry, we look forward to providing more government agencies with the latest LED T8 lights, LED street lights, fixtures, and more to fulfill their indoor and outdoor LEDs needs and conserve energy,” states Pervaiz Lodhie, LED lighting pioneer and LEDtronics, Inc. Founder. “We are honored to be one of the small businesses that make up 80% of GSA Multiple Award Schedule contractors.”

Through Multiple Award Schedule (MAS) contracting vehicles, government agencies purchase goods and services with pre-negotiated prices and terms set by the GSA. Per the GSA website at https://vsc.gsa.gov/RA/, “This type of contracting does not involve a sale to GSA, but creates an agreement where any participating Government agency may purchase the products or services covered by the contract according to the prices and terms specified, enabling Government agencies to make purchases faster and to leverage the buying power of the government.”
