It has been nearly four years since the world and the internet was taken by storm by the original music of Antoine Dodson. His animated news interview quickly went viral and after a little auto-tuning it became the number one downloaded song on iTunes around the world. Music fans could not stop listening to Antoine’s colorful statements and his quotes “hide your kids hide your wife” and “run and tell that, homeboy” became common household catch phrases.
Antoine shot to superstardom with appearances on The Tonight Show, Lopez Tonight, The BET Awards, New Year's Eve with Carson Daly, and a cameo in Tyler Perry's A Madea Christmas. The songs has been steadily downloaded for over forty months and on June 4, 2014 Antoine’s “Bed Intruder” single sold over one million copies and he received a platinum record in the mail.
What the public may not know is that Antoine is a very gifted singer and songwriter. He has recorded several tracks that music lovers and radio listeners will enjoy and he is finally ready to share them to the world. On June 30, 2014 Antoine will be releasing his first studio project entitled, “2014 A.D.” The EP will feature six of his hit songs that range from R&B to hip hop to pop. The tracks will show of his thought-provoking lyrics and his wide vocal range.
