NAPW honors Sandra L.Yeater as a 2014 Professional Woman of the Year. Ms. Yeater is recognized with this prestigious distinction for leadership in business. Sandra L. Yeater, M.B.A, is Executive Director of Integrity Health Group, the largest pediatric practice in western New York. Her skills and areas of expertise include patient care systems, business operations, quality management, human resources, grant writing and health planning. Ms. Yeater has been overseeing the day-to-day operations of Integrity Health Group for more than ten years. The pediatric offices are recognized by the National Committee for Quality Assurance as Patient Centered Medical Homes.

Working in healthcare is a challenging environment where change is a constant. Ms. Yeater understands that as a proponent of high-quality healthcare, her position requires that she establish quality systems and staff communication processes to be an effective chief operating officer. Ms. Yeater oversees the day-to-day operations of four medical offices using her extensive healthcare management background. She has an M.B.A. and a Certificate in Healthcare Administration from Cornell University and is a New York State Licensed Nursing Home Administrator. Ms. Yeater is currently involved with the Medical Group Managers Association (National and New York State) and a member of the American Academy of Pediatrics SOAPM and NYS Women. She is also past President of the Buffalo Rotary Club and current President of Buffalo Rotary Foundation. Ms. Yeater's current volunteer focus is on mentoring women and literacy improvement.
