Atlas Energy Resources, LLC Announces Record Distribution of $0.55 Per Common Unit for the Third Quarter 2007

Atlas Energy Resources, LLC (NYSE: ATN) reported today that it has declared its record quarterly cash distribution for the third quarter 2007 of $0.55 per common unit. This $0.55 per common unit distribution is payable Wednesday, November 14, 2007 to holders of record as of Wednesday, November 7, 2007. This quarter's distribution of $0.55 per common unit represents an approximate 28% increase over the second quarter 2007 distribution of $0.43 per common unit. The significant sequential increase in distributions primarily reflects the contribution of cash flow from natural gas production in the Antrim Shale in Michigan, which was acquired from DTE Energy Company (NYSE: DTE) on June 29, 2007.
