Forsythe Transportation, Inc. Names Amos Koech As Corporate Controller, Interim IT Director

GAINESVILLE, Texas, Nov. 5 /PRNewswire/ -- Forsythe Transportation, Inc., which has recently re-emerged as a premier provider of school bus transportation, public transit and special event transportation, today named Amos Koech as Corporate Controller. In addition to his duties as Controller, Koech will serve as interim Director of Information Technology for the company.

Koech joins Forsythe from Deloitte & Touche LLP where he was a Senior Consultant in both Costa Mesa, California, and Las Vegas, Nevada. He previously held positions with Brook Bond Kenya Limited/Unilever plc and Rwenzori Highlands Tea Company Limited.

"Amos brings Forsythe a unique combination of skills in financial controls and systems management to support the company's future growth," said William P. Forsythe, chief executive officer. "His high ethical standards, combined with sharp business insight, will provide an important resource as we expand into new areas of opportunity."

Koech led teams performing the review of general computer controls and security architecture assessments of various operating systems, network, application and database environments in support of financial audits. He is a Certified Information System Auditor and has experience with both US GAAP and International Accounting Standards, with certification from the Institute of Certified Public Accountants of Kenya.

Koech earned the Master of Business Administration degree in Technology for Management from the University of California-Irvine and the Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting from the University of Nairobi, Kenya.
