China Opens Door to United States Consumer Goods

PHOENIX, Nov. 5 /PRNewswire/ -- The Ministry of Commerce of the People's Republic of China and the Zhejiang Provincial People's Government have contracted with U.S.-based Moon Bridge Corporate Liaisons to register and service American companies attending the 7th Annual China International Consumer Goods Fair to be held in the famous harbor City of Ningbo, China, on June 8-12, 2008. The agreement is seen as part of a larger effort to encourage the importation of American consumer goods into China.
According to a survey by Vincent Chan, Head of China Research with Credit Suisse, China is set to become the world's second biggest consumer goods market by 2015-second only to the United States. The China International Consumer Goods Fair, one of the largest consumer goods fairs in China, is an opportunity for American companies to tap into this enormous market. Well-known consumer goods manufacturers, famous brands, and new products from around the world will be on exhibit. It will be an ideal occasion for American consumer goods companies to exchange information, to promote business relationships in China, and to access one of the largest consumer markets in the world.
The show will feature 4000 booths with an exhibiting area of 90,000 sqm. The booths will be divided into 6 professional exhibiting sections:
