Two Dead, 3 Injured in Tour Bus Crash in Mountains of Southeastern B.C.

GOLDEN, B.C. – A tour bus has crashed in the mountains of southwestern B.C., killing two people and injuring three others.
RCMP say the vehicle was carrying 12 passengers when it left the Trans-Canada Highway and rolled down an embankment near the snowsheds, about 70 kilometres west of Golden, B.C.
A spokesman at the Kelowna RCMP dispatch centre says one of the passengers was pinned under the vehicle.
RCMP investigators from Golden are still at the crash scene.
It’s not clear where the injured have been taken.
The accident occurred shortly after 6 p.m. PST.
