Natural Gas Partners Appoints Energy Entrepreneur Ray Davis As A Venture Partner

Natural Gas Partners, the leading private equity firm in the energy industry, announced that Ray Davis has joined the firm as a Venture Partner. In August 2007, Davis retired as Co-Chairman and Co- CEO of Energy Transfer Partners, L.P., a portfolio company of Natural Gas Partners. Davis and his partner Kelcy Warren, built ETP into a leading natural gas gathering, transmission and processing company. He previously served as a director of Crosstex Energy, Inc. and from 1993-96 was chairman and CEO of Cornerstone Natural Gas, Inc.

Natural Gas Partners announced Christopher D. Ray was promoted from Principal to Managing Director and the additions of Raymond G. Edgar and Thomas J.N.
