Iran said a pipeline will be constructed for transferring Caspian Sea oil to the Sea of Oman. Iran said the Neka-Jask pipeline will allow the littoral countries of the Caspian Sea to take their oil at a lower cost to high seas. Iran also plans to boost the capacity of the Bandar Abbas-Isfahan pipeline, located near major hubs for petrochemical industries and the gas industry. The Bandar Abbas refinery is capable of treating 1 million barrels of crude oil and will become a hub for the oil refining industry.
