Mesa Air Group, Inc. Reports October Traffic Including Go! Hawai'I's Low Fare Airline

PHOENIX, Nov. 9 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Mesa Air Group, Inc. reported its preliminary traffic figures for October 2007. Year-over-year available seat miles decreased 8.21% in October 2007 to 725,259 compared to 790,111 in October 2006. Revenue passenger miles decreased 5.74% from 574,080 in 2006 to 541,149 in 2007. Passenger enplanements decreased 2.97% from 1,321,779 in October 2006 to 1,282,516 in October 2007. Year-over-year load factor for the month of October increased from 72.66% in 2006 to 74.61% in 2007.

go!'s preliminary traffic figures for October 2007 indicate that its operations generated 11.41 million available seat miles, 7.67 million revenue passenger miles and 53,559 passenger enplanements resulting in a load factor of 67.23%, compared to 62.9% in 2006. Hawai'i's low fare leader also recorded an on-time performance rate of 84.35% and an overall completion factor of 97.43% for October 2007.

"During October, Mesa took delivery of the first two of 14 CRJ-900 NextGen aircraft which are now being operated by Freedom Airlines for Delta Connection," said Mesa Air Group Chairman and CEO, Jonathan Ornstein. "These new aircraft, configured with 12 First Class and 64 Coach Class seats, represent a great opportunity to expand our relationship with Delta. Once all 14 aircraft are delivered, we will operate a total of 50 aircraft under the Delta Connection banner." Mesa currently operates 184 aircraft with over 1,100 daily system departures to 184 cities, 45 states, the District of Columbia, Canada, the Bahamas and Mexico.
