Irish Flyers Angry Over Delta Airlines’ ‘Chaos’
November 10, 2007
DELTA Airlines bump more customers than any other airline, unhappy Irish passengers claimed yesterday.
Callers besieged RTE’s Liveline programme to complain about overbooked seats, baggage confusion and lengthy delays. One passenger described her experience as ‘utterly chaotic’, claiming she was ‘harassed’ and ‘treated like dirt’.
However, a spokesman for the airline last night said it has ‘one of the lowest overbooking rates in the industry’.
