Energy Business Expert Joins CMTC

Posted on: Tuesday, 13 November 2007, 15:00 CST

Energy business expert Scott Sullivan has joined California Manufacturing Technology Consulting as its Regional Sales Manager, infusing his years of sales experience and expertise into the company's Energy Savings Program.

With fifteen years in the energy business, Sullivan, who assumed his post last month, has the breadth of experience to help manufacturers trim gas and electricity costs while also boosting efficiency.

During the era of utility deregulation in California, Sullivan was the Vice President for Sales of New Energy Ventures, founded by the current president of the California Public Utilities Commission. Sullivan was Vice President of business development at Global Net, now chaired by a current commissioner of the CPUC.

"California's focus on energy and the environment is changing the landscape for California Manufacturers," Sullivan said. "CMTC is poised to make a major impact on the manufacturing energy field by keeping California manufacturers on top of energy-saving technology." Sullivan said that his first message to manufacturers is: "Give me a call."

The proprietary approach, called VeSM Advantage Plus Program™, measures power use, identifies manufacturing process cost-reduction opportunities and verifies energy savings. The program has already reduced energy consumption and saved millions of kilowatt-hours and therms for manufacturers throughout Southern California.

Gerald Church, the Director of Energy Services at CMTC is excited about having Sullivan on board to assist in getting the energy programs into the marketplace.
