Frontier Airlines has launched non-stop service between its Denver International Airport hub and Palm Beach International Airport in West Palm Beach, Florida. The new daily flight is the only non-stop service between Palm Beach and Denver.
Frontier's Palm Beach service will utilize its Airbus A319 aircraft. Bruce Pelly, Palm Beach International director of airports, said: "Frontier Airlines, which has a tremendous reputation in the industry, offers great connecting service from Denver that opens key markets for Palm Beach County.
"We made it a top goal to recruit this airline and it's a partnership we can all be proud of. This is a great day for the business and leisure travel industry of Palm Beach County."
John Happ, senior vice president of marketing and planning at Frontier, added: "Palm Beach County is a dynamic market that was clearly underserved for the low-fare and high-quality product that Frontier Airlines offers. With the new service, South Floridians can not only take advantage of the great snow and natural beauty that Denver and Colorado can offer, but they can also reach all of the top destinations in the Western US with an easy connection in our Denver hub. We also know that our passengers from the West have been waiting for a low-cost way to reach sunny Palm Beach County, and we plan to show them that even on a coast-to-coast flight, a low fare can be coupled with a high level of service. We look forward to a long, successful partnership in this new venture."
