United Fuel & Energy Announces the Retirement of Its Chief Financial Officer

MIDLAND, Texas, Nov. 19 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ — United Fuel & Energy Corporation (BULLETIN BOARD: UFEN) , a leading distributor of gasoline, diesel, propane and lubricant products to customers in the southwestern and south central U.S. today reported that on November 14, 2007, Bobby W. Page, Vice President, Chief Financial Officer and Secretary, age 65, announced that he plans to retire from his position with the company effective December 14, 2007 to establish a part-time consulting practice. Valerie Newsom, Controller, will become an interim Chief Financial Officer, while a search is underway to locate a permanent replacement.
