Tioga Energy Appoints Preston Roper Executive Vice President, Corporate Development and Operations

SAN MATEO, Calif., Nov. 26 /PRNewswire/ -- Leading renewable energy services provider Tioga Energy has named Preston Roper Executive Vice President, Corporate Development and Operations, effective immediately. Roper will steer the company's ability to scale and deploy an expanding array of solar PPA (power purchase agreement) projects.

Roper, a renowned Silicon Valley technology industry executive, brings more than twenty years of experience leading innovative marketing and operations teams at high-growth technology companies, including Honeywell, NetDynamics and Synopsys. Roper was previously Senior Vice President of Sales and Marketing at enterprise commerce provider Bitpass, and Vice President of Marketing at business intelligence provider JasperSoft. He has managed rapid growth teams in product marketing, engineering, operations, corporate marketing and sales in both Silicon Valley and Europe. Initially joining the team as a consultant in March of 2007 to assist in the company's public launch, this appointment marks his permanent appointment in a key leadership role at the company.
