Alliant Energy-IPL to Provide Power to TCI's Iowa Manufacturing Base

Interstate Power and Light, an Alliant Energy-owned electric utility, has signed an agreement under which it will provide electric services to TPI Composites.
TPI Composites, which manufactures wind turbine blades, is expanding its international operations by locating a manufacturing facility in Newton, Iowa. Alliant Energy will serve as the company's electric service provider.
Tom Aller, president of Alliant Energy-IPL, said: "We are pleased to partner with TPI Composites and look forward to serving their operations with safe and reliable energy service. This is an exciting time for Iowa's renewable energy economy. TPI Composites is a welcome addition to the wind generation manufacturers who have chosen to locate and expand their business operations in our state."
