Local Telecommunication Sector Ready for Wimax and 3g Technologies

According to online press (November 28, 2007), Mr. Michael Dickman, Director General of Nokia Siemens, announced that Algeria’s telecommunications industry is ready to embrace WIMAX and 3G technologies in the country. Mr. Dickaman added that Algeria has achieved the adequate potential to develop 3G and WiMax technologies for its telecommunications sector. The local telecommunications is pretty ready to embrace fixed and 3G mobile telephone convergence, emphasized Dickaman.
