Recycled Christmas Trees for Green Energy Wanted in BALTIMORE, PHILLY and NEW JERSEY

Posted on: Monday, 3 December 2007, 06:00 CST

Green Energy Resources (PINKSHEETS: GRGR) began shipments of wood pellets last week. The first 1000 tons of 6000 - 12,000 tons to be shipped in December were loaded via rail enroute to an east coast port for export. Green Energy Resources has received two supply contracts for pellets. The larger of the two contracts is for approximately $13 million annually. The company is exploring packaging pellets for retail markets in the states and for export.

Woodchips From Recycled Christmas Trees Wanted -- calling all agencies

Recycled Christmas trees turned into woodchips from New Jersey, Maryland, and Pennsylvania are being sought in January. The recycled trees will be used for renewable energy overseas. Cities and states may qualify to receive carbon offset credits issued by Green Energy Resources. The company is asking interested city and state officials to urgently contact Green Energy about the recycling partnership program. Green Energy Resources needs 200,000 tons of the woodchips for export orders beginning February 2008. Green Energy Resources and the City of New York are already working on logistics for a coordinated plan.

Mobile Pelletizer

Green Energy Resources continues to move forward with plans to develop and purchase a mobile pelletizer. The cost is under $1 million. The machinery would revolutionize the entire wood recovery industry. The pelletizer could be used in the field anywhere by creating a marketable and transportable commodity to be shipped cost effectively including states like Colorado impacted by beetle infestations, California forest fires, and hurricane damage as well as be used in a stationary capacity.

Green Light in UK

Great Britain's Energy Secretary John Hutton approved the largest wood-based biomass plant in the world last week. The 350 megawatt plant will be operating 24/7, 365 days per year on wood energy power. The Secretrary noted, "The wood biomass will be supplied from the United States." Green Energy Resources is the only current US exporter of wood biomass energy that can meet present import and environmental standards in the United Kingdom and Europe. Green Energy Resources has developed the stringent UTCS (urban tree certification system) for chain of custody documentation, 3rd party verification and insures sustainable sourcing. UTCS' virtual inventory continues to expand its supply network data base and has nearly 5 million tons of woodchips. The plant is scheduled to go online in 2010. The news article was dated November 21st.
