Foundation Coal to Speak at 2007 Citi Basic Materials Symposium

Foundation Coal Holdings, Inc. (NYSE:FCL) today announced that its executive vice president, Kurt Kost, will speak at the 2007 Citi Basic Materials Symposium in New York City on December 5, 2007. The presentation is scheduled to begin at 8:15 AM EST and will be available via webcast on the company's website at www.foundationcoal.com. A replay of the webcast will be available for 30 days following the event.
Foundation Coal Holdings, Inc. is a major U.S. coal producer with 13 coal mines and related facilities in Pennsylvania, West Virginia, and Wyoming.
