AGL and Arrow JV Acquires Enertrade’s Gas Business

AGL Energy Limted, in 50/50 joint venture with Arrow Energy, has taken over the ownership of the merchant gas and pipeline business of the Queensland Power Trading Corporation, also known as Enertrade, from the Queensland government.
AGL Energy Limited’s (AGL) share of the acquisition price was A$138.5 million including transaction costs.
Enertrade’s gas pipeline assets include the north Queensland gas pipeline and the Moranbah gas processing facility.
