Buy a Ticket During Midwest Airlines' Four-Day Fare Sale; Earn a Free Companion Ticket When You Fly in January

MILWAUKEE, Dec. 4 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Customers who buy tickets during Midwest Airlines' four-day fare sale and travel in January can receive a free roundtrip companion certificate to use later in the year. To take advantage of the special offer, customers need to book a ticket online using promo code BFF18 for travel in January 2008. During the four-day sale, Midwest is offering sale fares for travel January 1 through February 13, 2008. Purchase Tuesday, December 4 through midnight Central time Friday, December 7 and at least 21 days in advance of travel. A minimum Friday- or Saturday-night stay is required; travel to/from Las Vegas requires a two-night minimum stay.

Included in the fare sale is travel on Midwest Airlines and Midwest Connect. Midwest Airlines' Boeing 717 fleet aircraft offers Signature seating -- wide leather seats arranged in a roomy two-by-two configuration with extra legroom. On longer flights, the airline operates MD-80 series aircraft with primarily two-by-three Saver seating that provides customers value and additional legroom; they also have the opportunity to purchase one of 12 Signature seats at the front of the cabin. Midwest Connect offers connections to cities throughout the Midwest nationwide route system, and point-to-point service in select markets.

Voluntary reservation changes incur a $100 service charge, as well as a possible fare increase to a non-promotional fare type. Fares do not include $3-18 per passenger airport fee required at some airports, $3.40 per segment fee per passenger, and the "September 11th Security Fee" of $5-10 per passenger. Toronto travel does not include Canadian taxes of up to $10, airport improvement fee of $17, navigation surcharge of $14 and U.S. federal inspection fee of $7.
