Mobile Satellite Ventures and Wireless Matrix Extend Service Agreement

Mobile Satellite Ventures' (MSV) and Wireless Matrix (TSX: WRX) today announced that the companies have signed a two-year service agreement for satellite communications service that will run through 2009.
The agreement extends the current contract between the two companies that was first enacted in September, 1998.
Mobile Satellite Ventures is majority owned and controlled by SkyTerra Communications, Inc. MSV's MSAT-1 and MSAT-2 satellites deliver mobile wireless voice and data services primarily for public safety, security, fleet management and asset tracking in the U.S. and Canada. The company expects its next-generation network will provide seamless, transparent and ubiquitous wireless coverage of the United States and Canada to conventional handsets.
