Western Wind and Solon America to Develop Solar Energy Projects

Western Wind Energy, through its Western Solargenics subsidiary, has executed a co-operation agreement with Solon America Corporation to develop solar energy projects.
Western and Solon will co-operate and combine their respective capabilities to enable the development of 5MW to 40MW of photovoltaic solar energy projects in California and an additional 5MW to 40MW of photovoltaic solar energy projects in Ontario, Canada.
Solon will be the supplier of photovoltaic equipment and engineering, and procurement and construction services. Western will develop, own and operate all of the projects pursuant to the co-operation agreement.
