Sample Analysis Continues to Return High Grade Silver-Copper Mineralization on First Narrows' Barite Stockwork Zone Discovery

First Narrows Resources Corp. (TSX-V: UNO) (PINKSHEETS: FNRWF) (the "Company") is pleased to report additional analytical results from the Maria polymetallic (silver-bismuth-antimony-iron-copper-lead-zinc-barium) stockwork discovery previously announced on November 19, 2007. An extension of the stockwork system has been located with high grade silver and significant values of copper, bismuth, and gold.

All analytical work was carried out by ALS Chemex Laboratories. Geochemical analyses, except for gold, were done using ICP. The gold assays were done by standard fire assay with AA finish. Base metal assays were carried out by aqua regia digestion followed by ICP-AAS on samples exceeding 10,000 ppm copper, lead, or zinc.

Located approximately 80 km (50 mi.) east-southeast of the city of Hermosillo, the Maria stockwork structure has abundant hematite and specular hematite occurring as stockwork veins and zones of gossan across the structure (up to 20 meters or 66 ft.). Semi-massive to massive barite occurs over widths up to 3 meters (10 ft.). Galena (PbS) and chalcopyrite (CuFeS2) are visible in association with the barite.

Historical small mine activity, consisting of several historical shafts and pits, targeted high grade silver mineralization along the structure. Minera FNR de Mexico, S.A. de C.V. ("FNR"), a wholly owned subsidiary of First Narrows, now has a claim position in the area east of Hermosillo, Sonora, that totals 106,314 hectares (262,708 acres). The claims cover the Maria stockwork zone along with a mix of ASTER anomalies, favourable structures, and historical mineral occurrences. Ongoing exploration programs on the claims are focused mainly on prospecting. Geologically, the Property lies within the western part of the northerly trending copper-molybdenum porphyry and gold mineral belts.
