Titan Energy Worldwide, Inc. (OTCBB: TEWI) announced today that its subsidiary, Stellar Energy Services, delivered an emergency power system to the city of St. Paul Administration and Education Center.
The 300kw standby generator system incorporates a 16 liter, diesel engine supplied by Generac Power Systems, Inc. of Waukesha, Wisconsin. The system was installed outside the building in a sound attenuated weather proof enclosure. The engine generator can run for 24 hours without refueling its 438 gallon double wall fuel tank. The system output is 480 volts and is controlled by (2) Series 7000 advanced ASCO Power Technologies automatic transfer switches, one 150amp and one 260amp.
The installing electrical contractor is Egan Companies of Brooklyn Park, Minnesota. Steve Hoyt of Stellar Energy stated, "Egan Companies is a great customer for us and they are doing a great job. We expect to complete the start-up within the next 30 days."
Thomas Black, President of Titan Energy Worldwide, stated, "Stellar is benefiting from a large increase in the number of local and federal buildings that are required by code or new homeland security regulations to install emergency power equipment onsite."
