Logan’s Run of Hits Could Buy Mick His Vanquish
SUPERSTARDOM beckons for Scots rockers Logan after they scooped Best Rock Band at the recent 2007 New Music Awards.
Guitarist Mick Coll already has his eyes on a shiny new Aston Martin Vanquish.
What was your first car?
A Citroen BX. I paid pounds 200 for it.
What do you drive now?
A Renault Megane
How would you sum up the tour bus experience?
It’s the best time you’ll ever have with the best guys you’ll ever know.
What do you like to listen to on the move?
96.3 Rock Radio of course.
Most embarrassing moment on the road?
With a few of the cars I’ve owned just being seen in them was embarrassing.
Waking up in the middle of the night on the tour bus to find it rolling backwards down a hill filled with toxic exhaust fumes.
If you could be in charge of transport policy for a day what would you change?
I’d make wearing a tracksuit or Burberry cap an automatic fail on your test.
Who would be your dream passenger and who would you leave in a lay-by?
George Bush – but only so I could drive into a wall at high speed. Lay-by – the Spanish referee in the Scotland v Italy match.
What is your dream car?
An Aston Martin Vanquish. If we sell enough records…
Logan play 96.3 Rock Radio’s first birthday party at the Garage in Glasgow on January 10.
