Taiwan-based China Airlines has added several new functions to its cargo status automated notification system. By using these new functions, customers can now receive cargo status updates for specific shipments by filling in the air way bill number on the China Airlines website.
In addition, China Airlines also provides unit load device information, including pure load or mix-load messages, to help air freight forwarders to pre-arrange shipment delivery or trucking services at the arrival stations prior to flight arrival. The airline said that this new service will increase work efficiency and reduce costs and help eliminate idle time.
