Dayton Airport Passenger Loads Still Increasing

Dec. 12–DAYTON — Dayton International Airport had a 9 percent increase in passenger boardings during October from the same month a year ago and is up 10 percent for the year so far, the airport’s administration reported on Wednesday.
Delta Air Lines was the busiest carrier at the airport in October with 28,519 boardings. AirTran Airways was next with 27,507, followed by US Airways with 18,068.
It was the 21st consecutive month that the airport has reported increases in passenger loads, dating to February 2006.
Airports around the country have been reporting heavier passenger loads as the demand for air travel continues to increase.
