Allegheny Energy Helps Customers Reduce Energy Bills

Make a New Year's Resolution to use energy wisely. Allegheny Energy (NYSE:AYE) can help. As part of its Watt Watchers: Use Energy Wisely Campaign, customers can now purchase discounted energy-saving products online at www.apwattwatchers.com.
Allegheny offers two kits containing energy-efficient products:
Compact Fluorescent Light Kit contains two energy-saving bulbs.
Deluxe Kit, which contains an assortment of bulbs, efficient water dispensers, draft sealing materials and educational tips for even more savings.

The Compact Fluorescent Light kit, a $12 value, costs only $8. The Deluxe kit, a $58 value, costs only $23.
Allegheny's Watt Watchers initiative is developing additional programs for customers that will promote efficiency and conservation, including: helping customers conduct home energy audits, conducting workshops for business customers to encourage participation in utility demand reduction programs, launching an automated metering pilot program, and educating students about energy conservation and how to reduce energy usage at home. Certain programs are subject to review and approval by various state regulatory commissions.
