Interactive Webcast Showcases How Oracle(R) Software Helps Enhance Energy Market Reliability and System Performance
Northern California Power Agency (NCPA):
WHO:
Northern California Power Agency (NCPA) and Oracle
Â
WHAT:
The NCPA is debuting an innovative application using Oracle XML DB, a feature of Oracle Database 11g, via an interactive web demonstration. In an effort to bring new tools to the California Independent Systems Operator’s energy market redesign effort (MRTU), the NCPA’s application and the use of Oracle XML DB helps answer how California’s energy market stakeholders can better integrate power supply and delivery more efficiently for their customers. The creative use of this software shows how energy providers can ensure better reliability and minimize downtime.
Â
What NCPA has done to improve energy reliability and efficiency for its member utilities for nearly 40 years, it is now offering to all California energy market participants. NCPA’s innovative application of Oracle XML DB will facilitate California energy market stakeholders’ integration into the new MRTU infrastructure.
Â
WHEN:
The online debut and web demonstration will be held Wednesday, December 19 at 10:00 a.m. PST.
