Research and Markets: AT&T and Verizon Come Out Tops in US Enterprise Market Wireline Voice and Data Providers Survey
Research and Markets (http://www.researchandmarkets.com/reports/c77647) has announced the addition of Carrier Scorecard: US Enterprise Market Wireline Voice and Data Providers (1,000+ Employees) to their offering.
In-Stat’s January 2007 Business Network Telecom Trends Survey questioned over 300 decision-makers from US enterprise firms with 1,000+ employees about their perceptions of seven positive attributes or capabilities that the major telecom providers do or do not possess.
The seven statements regarding the four major telecom providers’ (AT&T, Verizon, Sprint, and Qwest) capabilities were as follows:
Provider is financially stable.
Provider shows strong support and customer care.
Provider has high quality products and services.
Provider has a strong international networking capability.
Provider has a secure network.
Provider has products and services to meet future needs.
Provider is an innovator.
AT&T and Verizon received either the highest or second-highest response rates for all of the positive capabilities included in the survey. As a result, the two companies have set themselves apart as the class of the telecom providers to the enterprise market. Enterprise decision-makers’ perceptions of Sprint’s and Qwest’s capabilities were consistently lower. In Qwest’s case especially, perceptions of this company were often significantly lower than perceptions of AT&T’s and Verizon’s capabilities in this crucial market.
