Verizon Wireless Expands Network in Lincoln, Nebraska

Verizon Wireless has announced that it has activated four new cell sites, to increase coverage, in and near Lincoln, Nebraska in the US.
Verizon Wireless has invested more than $40 billion since it was formed, more than $5 billion on average every year, to increase the coverage and capacity of its national network and to add new services. In 2006, the company invested $27.5 million to enhance and maintain its Nebraska.
Nancy Clark, president of Great Plains Region at Verizon Wireless, said: "These new cell sites represent our ongoing commitment to invest in our network in Nebraska, particularly in Lincoln. We continue to add additional cell sites in the Lincoln area to meet the growing needs of our customers and to provide them with the reliable, high-quality service they expect from Verizon Wireless."
