Negotiations About Czech and Slovak Cargos’ Merger Continue

CD Cargo (Czech Republic), cargo railway transporter, separated from the state railway company Ceske drahy (CD) (Czech Republic) into the individual subsidiary in Dec 2007. The Czech government supports a merger of CD Cargo and the company Cargo Slovakia (Slovakia), the similar company in Slovakia. A stronger player could arise on the central-European market thanks to the merger.
