Matheson is Utah Statesman

Merrill Cook’s criticism of Jim Matheson and support for Chris Cannon overlooks some important facts. The plain truth is getting out of the deficit quagmire of Republican supply-side economics will take sacrifice and self-control by our government and the majority of the citizenry. Common sense says if we want to strengthen the value of the dollar we need fiscally responsible leaders.

Instead of rubber-stamp politicians, we need more statesmen like Congressman Matheson whose voting record shows him to be our state’s only statesman in Washington.
