Estonian Leader Congratulates Former Georgian President on Election Victory

Tbilisi, 6 January: Estonian President Toomas Ilves today congratulated presidential candidate [and former president] Mikheil Saakashvili on his victory in the [Georgian presidential] election.
Saakashvili’s campaign headquarters told Kavkaz-Press that Ilves called the former president on his own initiative.
“He congratulated Saakashvili on his victory and wished him success on the difficult road to European integration,” the headquarters said.
