Kazakh Leaders Congratulate Former Georgian President on Election Victory

Tbilisi, 6 January: Kazakh President Nursultan Nazarbayev and Prime Minister Karim Masimov have congratulated [former Georgian president and ruling party candidate] Mikheil Saakashvili on his victory in the 5 January presidential election.
The press service of the [Georgian ruling party] National Movement told Kavkas-Press that the Kazakh leaders spoke to Saakashvili by phone.
Nursultan Nazarbayev and Karim Masimov expressed a desire to be present at the Georgian president’s inauguration.
