Verizon Wireless Expands Network in Oakville, Indiana

Verizon Wireless has activated a new cell site in southern Delaware County that improves its voice and data network in Oakville, Indiana, and along State Road 3 between Springport and State Road 67.
This new cell site is part of Verizon Wireless's continual effort to expand coverage, increase capacity and enhance the quality of its wireless voice and data network in Indiana and throughout the country.
Verizon Wireless has invested more than $40 billion since it was formed to increase the coverage and capacity of its national network and to add new services. More than $816 million of this investment was spent in Indiana.
Greg Haller, president of Indiana/Kentucky/Michigan region at Verizon Wireless, said: "Network reliability is the main reason that customers choose and stay with Verizon Wireless. Getting through on the first try and maintaining a connection are important to our customers. We continue to optimize our network so that it remains reliable."
