Balfour Selected for 350m “Toast Rack’

THE UK’s biggest construction firm, Balfour Beatty, yesterday won a major deal to build a L350m “toast rack” for aircraft at London’s Heathrow. The firm was chosen for the project, known as the Midfield Pier project, by airports operator BAA. The new pier will be able to house 16 aircraft when completed in 2012.
