US Geothermal Commences Power Generation at Idaho Plant

Renewable energy firm US Geothermal has announced that its Unit One geothermal power plant at Raft River, Idaho, has commenced commercial power generation.
Power is being purchased from the Raft River facility by Idaho Power Company under the terms of a 10MW Public Utility Regulatory Policies Act contract.
US Geothermal said that full energy prices are being paid under the terms of the agreement with Idaho Power Company.
