Hawaiian Airlines has announced the inauguration dates, flight schedule and fares for its new nonstop service between Honolulu and Manila.
The airline has also announced that roundtrip flights will commence from Honolulu on April 14, 2008 and from Manila on April 17, 2008, with four flights per week. Ticket sales have begun on the airline's website and through its reservations call center, as well as through travel agents in the US and the Philippines. Roundtrip fares for the new service begin at $848 in coach class.
Hawaiian will operate the new nonstop route using its, wide-body, twin-aisle Boeing 767-300ER aircraft that seat up to 264 passengers. The comfort and convenience of Hawaiian's two-three-two seating configuration provides either window or aisle seating to 86% of the passengers. The flight time is approximately ten hours.
Mark Dunkerley, Hawaiian's president and CEO, said: "We have been energized by the community's enthusiastic response to the announcement of our new Manila service and now that we can take reservations for travel starting in April, the excitement is building. We look forward to bringing our industry-leading service to the Philippines and expanding travel choices and opportunities for families and businesses on both ends of the route."
