Vietnam News:
— Vietnam’s Health Ministry has warned that acute diarrhea poses a threat to coming Lunar New Year festival next month, following 17 cases of acute diarrhea in Hanoi capital since the epidemic was announced to have ended late last month.
Youth:
— Vietnam will invest 24 trillion Vietnamese dong (1.5 billionU.S. dollars) in building its first expressway route linking Hanoicapital and northern Hai Phong city to facilitate investment and tourism. Construction of the 105.5-km route will start in May and finish in 2011.
Saigon Liberation:
— Vietnamese police on Jan. 1 detained a local woman and a manfrom northern Ha Tay province who were trading two alive tigers. They found six alive bears, and some dead wild animals in their houses.
